Since 2001, our long-held passion for trains has grown into a leading family business that repairs, overhauls and tests drive systems and components of railway and heavy rolling stock. We do this both nationally and internationally, in countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Finland and Spain. Together with more than 40 professionals, we look at the most efficient way of maintenance for your engines, transmissions, aggregates and other railway equipment-related components. Together, we keep moving.

Establishment of Diesel Spare Parts

On 1 May 2001, Diesel Spare Parts is a fact. With two people, our focus lies on new parts and overhauls.

Relocation to Oosterhout

Our first business premises become too small, we move to business premises in Oosterhout where we also expand our team.

SAP implementation

To steer our growth in the right direction, we implement the ERP system SAP.

ISO 9001

We attach great importance to the quality of our knowledge and services. In 2006, we are awarded an ISO 9001 standard.

Relocation to Tilburg

Again, we are running out of space. A new building is purchased in Tilburg, with over 1800 m2 of workshop space. This with a view to the future.

ISO 14001

We like to build sustainable solutions. That is why we use the heat generated during engine test runs to heat our business premises. Partly because of this, we are awarded the ISO 14001 certificate.

Name change DSP

Diesel Spare Parts has grown into an international player in the maintenance and overhaul of train engines. That is why we change our name into a short and powerful name that fits perfectly with our business activities: DSP.

The environment is becoming increasingly important, as is the energy transition. This shift in energy sources requires an adjustment in our services. In 2016, we set up a new department that focuses on the overhaul of electronic components and motors.

ISO TS 22163 (IRIS)

We shift our focus even further to the railway sector. With a view to quality, we achieve the special ISO TS 22163 (IRIS) standard, which is fully aimed at the railway sector.

Implementation Exact Online + new unit

Both technological developments and DSP itself are making rapid progress. SAP is no longer fully in line with our business operations and we switch to Exact Online. We are also responding to our growth by realising a substantial expansion. Our workshop is now equipped with an internal washing area, a spray booth, a crane capacity of 25 tons and 700 m2 of extra work space.

Establishment of DSP Poland

We focus even more on service and quality. That is why we are both expanding with a new branch across the border: Brzoza Poland.

Establishment of DSP Marine

There is a need for overhauls and maintenance in the marine sector. In 2021 we will establish DSP Marine. From now on, we also offer our services to customers in the maritime sector.

That is why we also call our flexibility our operating strength: we are available 24/7 for our customers, have a fast turnaround time and have a high-tech test stand and modern engineering solutions. For example, we are ISO 14001 and ISO 9001-certified and we have the special ISO TS 22163 standard, which is fully aimed at the railway sector. To guarantee safety in the workplace, all our mechanics also have a VCA/SCC certificate.
